Tooling Department

 PPI's in-house tooling department specializes in rapid turnaround, high quality hybrid aluminum tooling. Our tooling is designed to produce tight-toleranced, long-lasting and highly cosmetic injection molded parts. Through the use of hybrid tooling which includes steel inserts for high wear areas, full front and rear temperature control, guided ejection and other proprietary construction methods, PPI typically guarantees tooling life of up to 500,000 parts. The guarantee includes high-heat resins and glass and mineral filled resins. PPI has statistical data compiled over several years to back its' claims. This means that not only can the tooling be produced quickly and cost-effectively, but can be used to produce production grade parts made to customer PPAP requirements.
